Own your day, one promise at a time.
Daily inventory, clean time, literature and voice memos — the whole program in your pocket. No account, no cloud, no signal required. Everything stays on your phone.
Your whole program in one place, from the first step to the last, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Everything you need for daily recovery
Tools that carry the program on your phone — private by default, offline by design, and free to start.
Step 10, every day
Guided prompts walk you through resentment, fear, honesty and amends — the questions that are hard to answer alone. Write it in your own words, keep it private, and export a clean PDF when it is time to share it with your sponsor.
A gentle nudge, right on time
Set a daily reminder for your inventory, a check-in or a reading from Just For Today. It arrives like any other notification, and the app still works when there is no signal to be found.
Hit your weekly goal
Pick a weekly goal — inventories, check-ins, gratitude, service — and let the app keep the count. Watching the bar fill is a small, steady way to keep a promise you made to yourself.
Notice your own patterns
Daily emotional check-ins turn into a private picture of what sets you off, what steadies you and what your good days have in common. Bring the trend to your sponsor, your counselor or your therapist.
The Big Book in your pocket
Group readings, Just For Today meditations, the Twelve Traditions and the service materials — searchable, bookmarkable and completely offline. Read the same page in a meeting room with no bars of signal.
Free to start. Private forever.
Every recovery tool works in the free version — inventory, clean time, check-ins, voice memos, contacts and the full literature library. Premium only removes the ads and unlocks unlimited bookmarks and premium templates: $4.99 a week, $9.99 a month, or $49.99 once, for life.

What is the difference between Free and Premium?
Every recovery tool works in both versions — daily inventory, gratitude, voice memos, contacts, literature, multi-language and offline mode. Premium removes every ad, unlocks unlimited bookmarks (the free tier caps at 3) and adds premium templates and questionnaires. It is offered three ways: $4.99 a week, $9.99 a month, or $49.99 once for life. Pick whichever fits your recovery.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple or Google, never by us. On iOS: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, We Do Recover, Cancel. On Android: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, We Do Recover, Cancel. You keep premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Is my data really private?
Yes. Your inventory entries, voice memos, contacts and emotional check-ins are stored locally on your device only. We have no servers that hold your content and no account tied to your recovery. The only outside connections are anonymous ad serving in the free version and the optional analytics you can switch off — neither ever sees what you wrote or recorded.
Does it work without internet?
Every feature works 100% offline. Write an inventory on a plane, record a voice memo in a meeting with no Wi-Fi, read Just For Today in the mountains. Ads are pre-cached, so even the free version works offline once you have opened the app at least once.
Is this affiliated with AA, NA or CA?
No. We Do Recover is an independent app built by people in recovery, inspired by 12-step principles. We are not endorsed by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Narcotics Anonymous or Cocaine Anonymous, but we honour the traditions the program is built on.
Is there a way to remove ads without paying?
Yes. Inside the app, open Settings, choose Watch a 24-hour day-pass, and watch a short rewarded video. We turn off every ad — banners and interstitials — for the next 24 hours. Once a day, with no account and no payment.
Can I import my data from another app?
Not yet, but encrypted backup and restore is available. You can export everything as an encrypted file and restore it on a new device. Import from other apps is on the roadmap. The Privacy Policy has the details.
